Main Task- Costume Research

We wished the costumes for our two actors to be fashionable and practical. Fashionable and modern costumes were an important aspect to us because we wanted the audience to be able to relate to our characters as much as possible. If somebody lived on a farm, their costume may be more practical due to their environment and consist of thermal layers, a Barbour jacket and walking boots. If someone rode a motorcycle, they may wear a leather jacket and helmet for safety etc. In the same respect, we wanted the characters costumes to be a representative of their age, backgrounds, and wealth. The costumes also needed to be practical in terms of being sensible to wear in wet and cold weather.
